Water Songs

Presented by Bleach*, City of Gold Coast, Urbis and Gold Coast Waterways Authority

Heed the call of the siren, follow the flow and join us for Water Songs – Songs for the Waterways, a magical, musical concert series, which voyages the Gold Coast’s glittering waterways across the Festival.

Captained by Stringmansassy front-woman and Gold Coast favourite Kacey Patrick, a band of travelling water minstrels, including cabaret performer Pearly Black and 2018 Queensland Music Award Winner Karl S Williams, will serenade us from the canals, creeks and channels of the Coast, while we gather on the shores of backyards and public parks.

Let your thoughts drift as you listen to exquisite tales and haunting songs, which explore our enduring fascination with, and love of, water in all its moods.
